The Cupid Catastrophe is a romance visual novel that tells the story of a Cupid's first day of training on the job. There are three routes in-game that lead through different paths with three different love interests. As a Cupid, your job is to make sure the humans of your world can find love, but who's to say that Cupids can't find love too?
The Characters
You are a Cupid. It's your first day of on-site training at Cupid HQ and you have to decide on which department you'll work in. Will it be Letter Delivery, Gifting, or the coveted Cupid's Arrow? You get to decide. And who knows... maybe you'll find something more rewarding than a job well done by the end of the day.
Amora is your best friend. You've been attached to the hip ever since you were baby Cupids in Cupid School. She has always had an affinity for creative pursuits, and while she can have a serious, no-nonsense personality towards everyone else, she has also been able to let loose with you. (This is the Gifting Department's storyline)
The notorious Cupid Cowboy has been in the news for months as a Cupid who denounced the system and has been sabotaging the normal delivery routes. They claim to want to free love from the tyranny of a structured society that aims to control it, but is there another reason why he feels so strongly about this goal? (This is the Letter Delivery Department's storyline)
If you choose the Cupid Arrow department, Ace is the first human you'll be assigned to help find true love. His file states that he is uniquely down on his luck when it comes to love and no one has been able to successfully find him a match. Will you be the first to break his curse? Or will your first day end in failure? (This, of course, is the Cupid Arrow Department's storyline)
